DOSATRON in water treatment

 

Safety and accuracy are imperative in (drinking) water treatment. On the other hand, water treatment is often performed under unfavourable conditions. The self-powered and self-priming DOSATRON proportional dosing units ensure safe and reliable operation.

 

Appropriate solutions are dosed precisely, irrespective of changes in water pressure, flow rate fluctuations* or the pipe circumference to be disinfected.DOSATRON proportional dosing units are used for water treatment in applications such as Legionella prevention, wastewater treatment, disinfection and chlorine dosing.

 

 

 

DOSATRON dosing pumps excel in (drinking) water treatment thanks to:
  • effective implementation as an accessory in stationary and/or mobile systems in the context of the regulations for combating Legionnaire's disease,
  • automatic compensation of fluctuations during production, e.g. in temperature, pressure, viscosity*,
  • simple dosing adjustment of the mixing ratio and direct readout and adjustment on the unit.

Legionella prevention

Legionella contamination in systems for (drinking) water treatment is a serious problem. DOSATRON proportional dosing units are easy to integrate into an existing disinfection installation for disinfection via a bypass line. Precise dosing of appropriate disinfectant solutions is performed irrespective of changes in water pressure, flow rate fluctuations* or the pipe circumference to be disinfected.

  • effective implementation as an accessory in stationary and/or mobile systems in the context of the regulations for combating Legionnaire's disease,
  • simple dosing adjustment of the mixing ratio and direct readout and adjustment on the unit,resource-saving operation, e.g. due to independence from the mains power supply and self-priming up to 4 m

 

Wastewater treatment (polymer dosing)

DOSATRON dosing pumps can be used to add polymers, which are needed, for instance, in sludge dewatering, press and separation filters or dry processing. DOSATRON proportional dosing units are easy to integrate as accessories in stationary and/or mobile systems.

  • simple dosing adjustment of the mixing ratio and direct readout and adjustment on the unit,
  • low sensitivity to products that produce gas,
  • self-priming, water-driven operating principle, that runs without electricity.

 

Chlorine dosing

Chlorine and/or hypochlorite are often used as admixtures in the treatment of drinking water as well as for disinfecting swimming pools. We have developed special models of the DOSATRON proportional dosing units specifically for this application.

Disinfection of water treatment systems

DOSATRON dosing pumps are also suitable for disinfection of water treatment systems that use reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration or microfiltration. DOSATRON proportional dosing units can also be used for remineralisation downstream of an osmosis unit.
